SAYNA is digitally training people on-the-job

What they do:

Sayna tackles a dual challenge: the dearth of digital sector training in Africa and the disparity between the availability of digital talent and the escalating demands of companies amidst their digital evolution. Specializing in digital skills training, Sayna not only equips students with essential expertise but also furnishes solutions enabling seamless entry into the job market.

Why we invested:

We invested in Sayna because it uniquely addresses the critical gap in digital sector training in Africa, particularly in Madagascar, while also bridging the increasing demand for digital talent among companies. Sayna's commitment to providing tailored solutions for students to thrive in the job market aligns perfectly with our investment philosophy.

The Founder:

Matina Razafimahefa co-founded SAYNA, a startup born from a childhood dream shared with her mother, Nirina Rahoeliaribahy. Having grown up in Madagascar, she left at 10 to pursue tennis in France, becoming a regional champion at 14. Her entrepreneurial journey began at 15 after noticing educational disparities, leading to SAYNA's inception in 2017 as the first Franco-African Edtech and crowdsourcing platform, aiming to democratize digital education and job opportunities in Africa.
