Bypas-ss is empowering care providers and patients for better quality care. Egypt has no centralised healthcare system meaning that access to healthcare can be expensive and slow as patients often have to repeat tests or request records from previous clinics. Bypa-ss have developed “Health Tag” that compiles patients’ medical information, including prescriptions, allergies, and medical test results, into a scannable card.
Why we invested
Bypa-ss has a B2B and B2C business model generating revenue from different customer groups. The Egyptian healthcare sector is larger than USD17bn annually and Bypa-ss’ HealthTag product is one of the cheapest healthcare offerings in the country.
