Boya’s features include corporate virtual cards, spend control & tracking, instant receipt capture and automated accounting.
Why we invested:
Many small businesses in emerging markets lack access to formal financial services such as credit and savings. This is also true for Africa, where 50M+ businesses in Africa have no easy way to streamline and track their employee spending in real time. SMBs rely on cash and manual methods to manage their business expenses. Boya aims to help digitize the financial infrastructure of SMBs, promoting the adoption of eWallets, mobile money and digital finance among them, as these solutions have been widely used by individuals.
