Living out of many bases, Mohamed is a Sudanese & first generation American and is a Venture Partner at Launch Africa. He focuses on deal sourcing, ecosystem & investor relationships, and representing our firm across the world. A native speaker of Arabic, Mohamed heads the firm’s presence in North Africa.

Mohamed is an engineer by background and pivoted to the investment world after a stint at Goldman Sachs. He has experience in strategy consulting, wealth management, and engineering operations in the Aerospace and Airline industries.

Outside of work, Mohamed enjoys slow travel, hiking, biking, afrobeats, and amapiano.
