The Mobiz software offers merchants and SMBs a platform to create personalised SMS marketing by uploading their 1st party customer data and creating texts for various engagements including promotions and offers. A key offering on the platform is the creation of landing pages either using one of the many Mobiz templates that fit the SMBs business and offer type, or customised using the platform design features. None of this requires any coding. The platform is offered on a tiered subscription model.

Why we invested:

Moat: The Mobiz platform has been built to deal with the regulatory pain point of the prohibition of third party data usage. This regulatory move in South Africa has caused the Mobiz platform to have unique options for the use of 1st party customer data with opt-in alternatives to permit merchants to send texts to customers.
