This enables their customers to reach their target audience, deliver goods quickly, within an hour, and not worry about various integrations including loyalty schemes and payments.

Local businesses and large FMCG companies are struggling to compete against dark stores and global hyperlocal delivery players. To level the playing field, they require delivery systems that are typically beyond their financial reach. 1Trolley offers a comprehensive solution, enabling businesses to digitize their operations and provide locally sourced products to their community. Additionally, their delivery partners benefit from access to local opportunities.

The Founder:

Walid Rashwan is the founder and CEO of 1Trolley. Prior to founding 1Trolley, Mr. Rashwan was Group Chief Operating Officer at National Foods Products Company, a GCC primarily food & beverage company with renowned market leading brands in the region for dairy, water, juice & bakery products. Prior to his position, he was Area Director of British American Tobacco for the Middle East and North Africa. Being the youngest and first talent from the region to hold this position is testament not only of his management skills but also to his natural aptitude for decision-making and overall leadership skills.

Walid’s work history has allowed a unique experience in working across 22 countries extending from Morocco in the West to Azerbaijan and Iran in the East, where he developed a unique understanding across the geography for business needs and the key to succeed in very challenging environments.

Walid’s expertise in combining business strategy with digital solutions combined with his experience in FMCG positions him to spearhead the right solutions for business partners across supply chain pain points, streamlining their operations, reducing inefficiencies whilst setting the company on a Digital growth strategy.
